What waste is allowed in skips?

Most household, garden, construction & recyclable materials are allowed to be disposed of in a skip. Waste deemed as hazardous by the government can not be disposed of using a skip.

Common Prohibited Items

Asbestos, tyres, fluorescent tubes, fridges, paint and paint tins (unless empty), medical waste, gas cylinders, liquids, solvents, oil, petrol, diesel and explosives are all prohibited items and can not be disposed of in a skip.
